Creating An Accounting Resume – Including Tips and Sample

Accountants are expected to be very detail oriented, therefore as an accountant you will and probably should feel some added pressure when it comes to creating your resume. Any little mistakes on your resume will automatically lead an employer to think twice about your attention to details.

The goal of a good resume is to accentuate your most important skills, and past professional experience in a way that makes you the “perfect candidate” for the job which they hiring. In order to accomplish this it is important to craft your resume to fit the job description for the position/s which you are applying. Your resume’s layout will also play a small role in contributing to help your resume stand out from the others, while also making user friendly and easy to navigate.
